The Japanese garden is an integral part of the Japanese culture, and gardening is seen as an activity to achieve not only a beautiful garden but also to achieve a feeling of peace and harmony. This may be the only calming aspect that a person has in their daily, hectic lives. Japan is a highly overpopulated country, which means that many citizens do not have a large area for gardening. However, a good solution to this is to create a miniature garden using the bonsai art.
The Japanese garden has elements that are vital in the creation and even if one is making an artificial bonsai indoor garden one must keep these elements in mind and not lose their significance. The elements are water, stone and green. The stones are critical in the fact that they must look like mountains placed by a higher power and not human beings. The water must flow from east to west just as the sun rises and sets. As well, all Japanese gardens have a green element.
Now that one knows the basic elements needed for a Japanese garden, they must find out how to create one. Creating a bonsai tree garden based on the Japanese form can be learned from books, the internet, and even a nursery from which one can buy bonsai trees and bonsai supplies. If one looks on the internet, then they can find a variety of bonsai books that teach one how to keep these delicate trees alive while keeping the idea of the Japanese art form intact.
The Japanese garden is unique in the fact that it can help create and bring serenity into one's life. If a person really wants to bring a Zen feeling into their lives, then they can try to grow a bonsai tree in their garden. This is only one of the three elements that are crucial in the garden of the Japanese. Understanding all one can about this unique garden style will help a person to create a beautiful addition to their environment.

Gardening Facts & Tips
Using the water culture method provides the perfect amount of nutrients, water, and oxygen to your hydroponics grow system. This popular raised gardening method uses plants floating on top of a sheet of Styrofoam while a pump adds oxygen and nutrient filled water to the root systems of the plants. Lettuce and other water-based plants are ideal for this hydroponics grow system and other plants should be grown using other methods that are more suitable for them. Teachers also use the water culture method in their classroom as a teaching tool for their students.
